Friends of Quintana Roo:
I am here today to provide you all with brief summary of what we measures we are taking across our cities and municipalities to reduce the number of positive coronavirus cases here in Quintana Roo. It is of the utmost importance to us that we reduced the number of citizens hospitalized, reduce the number of COVID-19 related deaths and improve our traffic light color designation. Our discussion today focused entirely on how to protect the health and wellbeing of our citizens, their families and our society.
So, we are here today to ask for your help.
We are here today to ask for your help in achieving our ultimate goal of decreasing COVID-19 cases by continuing to follow the same basic steps:
Please continue to use and wear a facemask to ensure we are protecting one another. Please maintain the necessary distance of at least six feet between you and others to prevent the virus from passing among us. Please continue to wash your hands, refrain from touching your face and practice overall safety measures.
This call to action is aimed at us all, everyone in this great state. If we continue to work together, we can protect one another from this virus and help ensure the safety of our family, friends and society as a whole.
We must continue to fight, doubling-down on our safety measures and practicing great discipline to reduce our growing infection rate.
United we are stronger; together we can protect our region, our municipality, our state and ourselves. Together We Will Succeed!
Thank you all.
